Nature: Trailer Fire

Location: 25500 Hollis Rd Harbeson, DE 19951

On Thursday afternoon, September 1st, the Indian River (80), Millsboro (83) and Milton (85) fire companies were alerted to assist Georgetown (77) Volunteer Fire Company with a reported working trailer fire on Hollis Road off Gravel Hill Road.   The emergency medical services were provided by the Georgetown American Legion (93).

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included resources to the manpower pool to assist where needed with fire suppression, apparatus staging for potential water supply if needed.

It appears that a manufactured home was fully involved at time of dispatching.  The residential structure was located off Hollis Road between Gravel Hill Road and Doddtown Road.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
