Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 35473 Bayview Lane Rehoboth Shores, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, August 28^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a structure fire on Bayview Lane in the Rehoboth Shores development off Long Neck Road.  After being dispatched, it was reported to be fire within the dishwasher.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engines #80-1 and #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included evaluation and identification of the incident severity, check for extensions and suppression, incident mitigation.

It appears that a fire within the dishwasher was contained and fully suppressed prior to arrival emergency response personnel.  Crews evaluated the concerns and checked for extensions.

All units were permitted to routine to their respective quarters.
