Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 30415 Dunlin Ct., Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Wednesday afternoon, August 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential structure fire on Dunlin Court in the Peninsula Lakes development off of Bay Farm Road.  It was identified that the interior smoke alarms were going off in the residence for an unknown reason.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior evaluation of the facility based upon the audible alarms upon arrival.  The thermal imaging camera and gas meters did not pick up any abnormalities at the residential location. An interior evaluation did not yield any indicators of concern as well.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic for the duration of the incident.

All units were permitted to return to quarters at their convenience.
