Nature: Car Show Hosted @ American Legion Post #28

On Saturday, August 13^th, the Fire Prevention Cohort of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company attended an Annual Car Show hosted at the Oak Orchard/Riverdale American Legion Post #28 on John J. Williams Highway.

The Committee utilized this opportunity to display our Antique Fire Engine – 1968 Mack R Model - http://www.irvfc.com/apparatus/detail/4613 and our newest apparatus Tower 80 – 2020  Pierce 100’ Ascendant Aerial Tower - https://www.irvfc.com/apparatus/detail/42364  as well as providing fire prevention information pamphlets and other peripheral.

This Community Risk Reduction Initiative was intended to improve public safety and decrease loss of life and property through effective public education and community engagement.
