Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Saturday evening, August 13^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Honeyspot Road in Pot Nets Bayside.  It was reported to be vehicle accident involving a parked vehicle and a residential structure.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 and #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization where needed, traffic control if needed, and overall incident mitigation.

It appears that a Ford F-150 struck and parked Jeep and the screened porched area of a residential structure on Honeyspot Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control where needed.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
