Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Friendship Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday, June 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road and Friendship Road.  It was reported to be a two vehicle collision on Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 and Chief 80-15 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and incident mitigation.

It appears a blue Chevrolet Cobalt and maroon Lincoln Town Car collided on Indian Mission Road.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.  Indian Mission Road was temporarily closed for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
