Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 23132 Talbot Dr Angola Beach & Estates, DE

On Wednesday evening, June 22^nd, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) with a working structure fire with reported subjects trapped on Talbot Drive in Angola Beach & Estates off Angola Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included manpower resources for assistance with fire suppression and overhaul as well as establishing a water supply.

It was reported that a single wide manufactured home was fully involved with the possibility of subjects trapped.  Initial arriving units provided a status update and requested specific apparatus assignments for responding units.  The fully involved nature of the alarm was verified as well as specification that this would be an exterior attack for suppression purposes.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic assistance as well as scene access limitation.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.

There were no reported civilian injuries.
