Nature: Gas Leak

Location: 34865 Gunnel Rd Millsboro, Pot Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Saturday, January 3rd, 2015, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak incident on Gunnel Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road. 

Emergency response units included Engine 380-3 from the Long Neck facility and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation to identify the source of the alert.  In was determined that the homeowner had run out of propane during the early morning hours and smelled an odor.

The homeowner as advised of the procedures for propane utilities.  The homeowner recently relocated to the residential property.
