Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy & Holly Lake Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday, December 27^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway at the intersection of Holly Lake Road.  It was reported to be three vehicles, with one vehicle into a tree, and reported minor injuries.

Emergency response unit included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine#80-5 from the Long Neck facility. 

Emergency response crew assignments were scene mitigation, patient assessment, vehicle assessment, traffic control and overall scene mitigation.

It was appears that a brown GMC pick-up was traveling westbound on John J. Williams Highway and collided with a black Nissan sedan.  All occupants refused medical attention.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.  The westbound traffic was detoured via Holly Lake Road, Phllips Branch Road and Indian Mission Road and the eastbound traffic was monitored via passage.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
