On Thursday afternoon, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was requested to provide an engine crew assignment at Station #2.

The Sussex County Drug Unit has arrested five people after a several month long investigation into the manufacturing of meth at a home on Kings Lane in Enchanted Acres off of Long Neck Road. 

Thursday (12/11/2014) afternoon,  the Drug Task Force with the assistance of the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT), DNREC, and Indian River Fire Department responded to the home to execute a search warrant at the house.

Police made five (5) arrests which is identified in various news websites. 

A search located equipment and component mixtures of the manufacturing stages of Meth along with key ingredients in making the drug.

All five arrested were arraigned and turned over to the Department of Corrections in lieu of $27,500 cash bail each.

No evacuations were ordered.

Five arrested on charges of manufacturing meth

Five people were arrested Thursday after a several-month investigation of methamphetamine manufacturing at a Millsboro-area residence, state police said.

Members of the Sussex County Drug Task Force arrived in the 25000 block of Kings Lane in the Enchanted Acres development about 4:50 p.m. Thursday to execute search warrants. Assisting in the raid were the state police Special Operations Response Team, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and Indian River Fire Company.

Investigators searching the property found meth-making equipment and chemicals at various stages of the process, along with key ingredients in making the drug, said Master Cpl. Gary E. Fournier, a state police spokesman.

Anthony V. Dipentima, 28; Bonnie A. Dipentima, 56; Ashlyn A. Lippy, 28; Savannah N. Shelton, 25, and Robert S. Andell, 28, all of the Millsboro area, were charged with operation of a clandestine lab, meth possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy and drug paraphernalia possession.

They were arraigned at Justice of the Peace 3 near Georgetown and turned over to the state Department of Correction, each lacking $27,500 cash bail.
