Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy & Indian Mission Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, December 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Indian Mission Road. It was reported to be two vehicle with heavy debris in the roadway.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, scene stabilization, assist with patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization, and debris recovery.

It appears that both vehicles were traveling westbound approaching the Indian Mission Road intersection when the blue Toyota struck the rear of the silver Ford Explorer causing extensive damage to the Toyota.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
