Nature: Alarms - Commercial Structure

On Tuesday, April 19^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. was alerted for a fire alarm condition at a commercial structure on Plaza Drive near Long Neck.

Emergency response units included Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignment included identification of reason for alarm and efforts to mitigate the issue. 

It was identified that a pull station alarm was activated at the commercial structure and resources were awaiting arrival of building security.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
