Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Early Sunday morning, April 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road near the entrance to White House Beach.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics, the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit (Trooper 2).

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control if needed, and assist with locating the occupant of the vehicle that departed the incident walking towards nearby business establishments.  Units were apprised of safety concerns if approaching the occupant.

It appears that a blue sedan was traveling on Long Neck Road and left the roadway before overturning multiple times into a nearby field.

The Delaware State Fire Police assist where needed.

The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit, Sussex County Paramedics and Rescue 80 were cancelled while responding to the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
