On Saturday evening, September 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Holly Lake Road, just off of John J. Williams Highway. It was reported to be a single vehicle roll-over.

Emergency response units from Indian River included: Engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility, Rescue 80 and Brush #80-00 from the Oak Orchard facility, as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

It appears that a while compact pick up was traveling on Holly Lake Road and lost control for an unknown reason, left the roadway, and over turned rolling down an embankment.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
