Saturday September, 13, 2014 Nature: Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association (DVFA) 20th Annual Conference & 94th Annual Parade Address: Kent County – Dover, DE On Saturday, September 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and many other fire companies within the State of Delaware and surrounding areas participated in the capstone of the 94th d Annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association’s Parade. This event was held in Dover. Indian River entered the following emergency response units into the parade for judging: • 80 Marine 1 - http://www.irvfc.com/apparatus.cfm?a=27 • Utility 80-08 (not judged utilized to pull marine unit) - http://www.irvfc.com/apparatus.cfm?a=32 • Polaris 80 - http://www.irvfc.com/apparatus.cfm?a=28 Awarded Best Appearing Special Unit Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the event.
