Nature: Electrical Hazard

Location: Banks Rd & Green Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, September 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard with wires down and potential fire issue. It was reported that a tree fell over some primary electrical wiring causing a fire.

Emergency response units included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility and Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response assignments were to identify the utility company provider, obtain a pole number and monitor until arrival of the utility company.
