Nature: Polaris 80 Assist Rehoboth Beach (86) @ Polar Bear Plunge
Location: Ocean Block Area – Rehoboth Beach
On Sunday, February 6th, Polaris 80 from Indian River attended the Polar Bear Plunge to assist the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company in anyway possible regarding the activities associated with the Special Olympics Event.
The Polar Bear Plunge raises monies for Special Olympics Delaware during this annual event in Rehoboth Beach.
The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company assists with coordinating emergency services for the event and requested Indian River’s unit as a precautionary measure.
A two man crew was assigned to Polaris 80 to assist as directed by Rehoboth Beach Fire Chief Chuck Snyder.
