The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company has developed a multitude of initiatives to foster enhanced recruitment and retention efforts which include increasing or maintaining the number of trained, "front line" personnel available in our community. Our goal is to enhance our fire department's abilities to comply with staffing, response and operational standards established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
