Nature: IR Accepts Delivery of Tanker 80

Location: Oak Orchard Road

On Saturday, June 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company accepted delivery of Tanker 80.

After many hours of design, development, specifications, bidding, evaluation and monitoring – Indian River’s new tanker is delivered to the Oak Orchard facility.

Tanker 80 is a custom manufactured 2,500 gallon truck by Rosenbauer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota via its local dealer (DPC Emergency Services of Hartly, Delaware) and must undergo many enhancements designated by Indian River for the firefighting equipment installation and mounting as well as emergency communication radio installation and vehicle lettering and graphics. Indian River’s specifics graphics and lettering will be performed via Rogers Graphics in Milton, Delaware.

Tanker 80 will be delivered to Ocean City, Maryland on Sunday morning, June 15th for presentation and show at the upcoming firemen’s expo.
