Nature: Outside Fire

Location: Fairfield of Long Neck by Mail Boxes

On Sunday morning, June 1st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a mulch fire near the mailboxes at Fairfield of Long Neck.

Emergency response units included Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility and Brush #80-00 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression and saturation to prevent spread of the mulch fire.

It appears that mulch fire with an undetermined origin was smoldering near the mailboxes at the entrance to Fairfield of Long Neck.

Brush #80-0 was able to extinguish and address the assignment thereby cancelling all other responding apparatus.
