MILITARY SPOUSE APPRECIATION DAY, 2014

Today, the Friday before Mother's Day, we join our nation to recognize Military Spouse Appreciation Day.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day is to honor those whose support and encouragement sustain the men and women of our military services. Throughout our nation's history, spouses of service men and women have made unselfish contributions to the spirit and well being of our military personnel and the communities in which they live and work. This has certainly never been more true than it is today with the many members of our armed forces who are deployed on a varied of missions.

Please join our fellow volunteer firefighters in offering a sincere and heartfelt "thank you" to all of these spouses.
