Sunday May, 4 2014 @ 17:00 Nature: Emergency Responder Appreciation Dinner Address: American Legion Post #28 – Oak Orchard On Sunday May 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and its first responders were invited to the Annual Emergency Responder Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oak Orchard/Riverdale American Legion Post #28. This annual event is hosted by the American Legion to recognize and pay tribute to the first responders of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company as well as the local EMS providers. The capstone of the event is a presentation and contribution to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company by the Ladies Auxiliary Unit. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to acknowledge and thank the American Legion for such a wonderful event.
