Nature: NIA Ladies Luncheon & Informational Fair

Location: Indian River Station #1

On Saturday, May 3rd, the Nanticoke Indian Association (NIA) in cooperation with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company held their 3rd Annual Ladies Luncheon and Information Fair.

This event was jointly sponsored by the NIA and Cadia Rehabilitation. This year’s theme was “You Can Make a Difference!” and hosted Dr. Judith E. Pierson as the event’s guest speaker.

Dr. Pierson is a license psychologist with a private practice in Rehoboth Beach. Her presentation included topics which included: Self-Care; Healing the Wounded Inner Child; What the Dying Can Teach Us about Living; Living Your Best Life; and many others.

The event hosted many presenters and vendors that demonstrated various services including but not limited to: acupuncture, cancer screenings, voter registrations, cultural, massage, health living, a health fari scenaro as well as a fire prevention display by Indian River.  

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge and thank all of the patrons and vendors that attended.
