Indian River’s Apparatus Fleet Status Update of New or Anticipated Units: The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to provide the following status update with respect to apparatus upgrades, construction and new arrivals: (1) Utility 80-11 has been completed and ready for active service. The new utility truck #80-11 has been fully equipped and placed in-service. (2) Engine Tanker 80 Progress / Status Updates. This new Commander chassis for the engine tanker apparatus has been delivered to the Lyons, South Dakota location of Rosenbauer pending final construction of the apparatus compartments, pumps, etc. The chassis was manufactured by Rosenbauer in their Minnesota plant. (3) 2014 Chevrolet Member Transport Unit The new Chevrolet Tahoe was delivered to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Station #1 facility on Tuesday, March 25th. This unit will undergo transformation with lettering, decals, logos, radio and light installation prior to being placed in-service. |
