Coaling Fire Department Places Engine In-service Coaling, Alabama The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that its former Engine #80-2 has been placed in-service at the Coaling Fire District and has been serving their community. Recently, the Coaling Fire Department was alerted for a working trailer fire and utilized Engine #80-2. Emergency response personnel activated two 1¾ fire suppression attack lines from the apparatus’ cross lay bins to extinguish the manufactured home fire. The unit was supplied with water from other apparatus. The Coaling Fire Department submited the following photographs to acknowledge the apparatus contribution and to highlight their delight with the unit as well as its ability to serve their community and enhance their fire suppression needs. |
