Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS

On Friday morning, March 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Mount Joy Road in the vicinity of Maryland Camp Road. It was reported to be two vehicles involved and minor injuries.

Emergency response crews include Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-5 from the Long neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included assisting with patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization, traffic control and debris clean-up.

One vehicle operator was transferred to nearby medical facilities for additional hospital evaluation.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
