Nature: Community Assistance

Location: Community Church of Oak Orchard

On Sunday afternoon, October 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided services to the Community Church of Oak Orchard by offering our aerial platform to perform the preliminary phase of exterior church steeple cleaning. This process utilized environmentally friendly materials to safely saturate surfaces to remove mold, lichen and other airborne contaminates.

This process was also a training exercise for the fire company personnel with utilizing the tower and gaining access with hard to access areas and working off the platform.
