Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 26038 Tributary Blvd, Peninsula Lakes, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, October 24^th, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82), and Millsboro (83) fire companies were alerted for a structure fire on Tributary Blvd in the Peninsula Lake development off Bay Farm Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Sussex County Paramedics.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engines #80-3 and #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

It appears that incident was the result of a culinary mishap and emergency response units were held to just Indian River and any unit not already on scene were cancelled including the EMS providers.

Emergency response crew assignments included ventilation and incident mitigation.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
