DVFA Announces Firefighters of the Year

The DVFA Recruitment and Retention Committee is pleased to announce the three Delaware firefighters that have been selected as Firefighter of the Year. They are: Gerald Strother of Blades, Patrick Miller of Indian River, and Charles "Doc" Dougherty of Magnolia.

All three will be attending the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, IN, Congressional Fire Service Institute (CFSI) in Washington, DC, and other DVFA events throughout the State of Delaware.

Gerald Strother of Blades currently serves as Vice President .

Patrick Miller of Indian River currently serves as President

Charles Dougherty of Magnolia currently serves as Vice President and Deputy Chief.
