Vehicle Accident with Roll-over

On Saturday morning, February 22nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle collision on Cordrey Road in the vicinity of the sharp curve. It was reported to be a two vehicle incident with roll-over.

Emergency response units included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police and the Delaware State Police.

Emergency response crews were requested to assistance with vehicle and patient stabilization, where needed, performs traffic control and implements incident mitigation measures.

It appears that Ford Focus was traveling along Cordrey Road attempting to navigate the sharp curves, lost control, and overturned multiple times. All occupants of the vehicles refused additional medical attention.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
