The Delaware Valley Fire Chief’s Association was organized in 1962. The association’s primarily consists of representatives from the states of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This association encourages membership of former and current fire officers from career, combination and volunteer departments who have the same goals in mind of providing an effective and efficient service to the public and at the same time to provide our firefighters with the best training and equipment available to perform their duties.

This unique group meets 6 times per year to share their experiences within the fire service. The information shared and lesson learned goes on to support that no matter if you’re a firefighter from a large city department or from a small rural department, we all face the same challenges to ensure the safety of our firefighters and the public we serve.
