Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

On Wednesday morning, February 19th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a CO detector activation at a residential location on Rivers Edge Road in the Stonewater Creek development off of Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units included Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included evaluation and mitigation of the incident identify potential sources and cause of the activations; implement natural ventilation measures, and continue to monitor the levels of the CO gases inside the residence.
