Sunday, February 2, 2014 Location: Gumboro Fire Company – Station 79 Address: 37030 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro, DE 19966 Tanker 80 Recommissioned as Tanker 79-5 The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to illustrate a glimpse of the recommissioned Tanker 79-5 that was formerly Tanker 80. As you may recall, the Gumboro (79) Fire Company acquired this unit in June, 2013 and has been overhauling the apparatus to accommodate Gumboro’s operational need. Gumboro’s Chief Bill Bant provided these images of the pending unit. It should be fully operational later in February, 2014. Illustrated herewith are some photographic images of Tanker 80 during this transaction. |
