Saturday December, 14 2013 Nature: Pre-Arranged Standby Assignment – Automatic Fire Alarm Incident Address: Wilmington Manor – New Castle On Saturday, December 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a pre-arranged stand-by crew for Wilmington Manor in New Castle Delaware to attend their annual fire company banquet. The Wilmington Manor Fire Company was dispatched to assist Goodwill Fire Company with a box alarm alert at 50 Market Street and Harmony Road in the vicinity of the Immanuel Episcopal Church Building. Emergency response units from Wilmington Manor included: Rescue 28; and Ladder 28. It appears that a faulty attic heat detector (Zone 5) may have been identified as result of the incident. |
