Nature: Fire Police

Address:  Holly Lake Rd and John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday afternoon, July 29^th, the Delaware State Fire Police assigned to Indian River Volunteer Fire Company were requested to assist with traffic control on John J. Williams Highway as a result of a fallen tree across the roadway.

This incident was reported during the same time period that responding emergency apparatus were dispatched to a working structure fire in the fire district of Rehoboth Beach in the Middle Creek Preserve development off Angola Road.

The Delaware Department of Transportation was notified of the fallen tree incident; however, upon clearing from the structure fire Engine #80-3 was assigned to offer tree removal assistance if needed.

Traffic patterns along John J. Williams Highway was disrupted during the tree removal process.
