Apparatus Information – 1926 Reo Fire Truck
In May of 1953, the Formation Committee of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was approved to acquire firefighting apparatus. Their second piece of equipment was a 1926 Reo Fire Truck manufactured by the U.S. Fire Apparatus Company and acquired from the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company for $2.
Recently, a few photographs were made available to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and one photograph was this 1926 Reo Fire Truck sitting outside of the fire station in Oak Orchard.
