Nature: Vehicle Fire

Location: Pot Nets Pool #1

On Wednesday, December 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire at Pool #1 in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road. It was identified as a golf cart fire.

Emergency response units included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility and Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility. Apparatus response was reduced to Engine #80-3.

Emergency response crew assignments were to mitigate the incident via the fire extinguisher.

It appears the fire was limited to the battery compartment of the gold cart. There were no injuries associated with the event.
