Nature: Structure Fire – Assist Rehoboth Beach (86)

On Saturday, November 16th, the Rehoboth Beach (86), Indian River (80), and the Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted for a structure fire on Atlantic Avenue in Sea Air Mobile Home Park.  It was reported by a passing fire company officer of a situation with smoke visible from all four sides of the residential structure.

Emergency response units included Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility; Engine 80-3 from the facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were requested to attend to the manpower pool and assist where needed.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.

No Injuries in Rehoboth House Fire

 The Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating a house fire in Rehoboth Saturday night.

Firemen from Rehoboth, Lewes and Indian River got the call just after 9 p.m. for the blaze in the Sea Air Development; arriving units found smoke coming from underneath the house on Atlantic Avenue.

No injuries were reported. No word yet on what started the fire.
