Nature: Annual Longaberger Basket & Thirty-one Bag BINGO

On Thursday, November 7th, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted their Annual Longaberger Basket & Thirty-one Bag BINGO event at the Main Street in Oak Orchard.

This year’s event was attended by quite a few people and included 20 games of BINGO for which Longaberger Baskets &/or Thirty-one Bags were the prizes; a 50/50 Raffle; a silent auction; and other activities throughout the evening.

During the intermission period, there were light refreshments which included egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad sandwiches, potato chips, pretzels, beverages and other snack food prepared and provided by the Ladies Auxiliary.

The caller for the evening’s activities was Patrick Miller and Eric Ruckle with Jim Wagner, Chuck Tancini, performing monitoring while David Blumenthal displayed the basket activities.

The Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank all of the basket sponsors as well as participants. It is believed that many had an enjoyable evening.
