Saturday November, 2 2013 Nature: Standby Cover up Assignment – Aston-Beechwood Fire Company Address: Aston, Pennsylvania On Saturday, November 2nd, the Indian River (80) Volunteer Fire Company provided a pre-arranged stand-by cover up assignment for the Ashton-Beechwood (72) fire company in Aston, Pennsylvania. The stand-by was requested to allow Aston-Beechwood VFC to host a professional development training seminar for their members at the fire house. These assignments allow Indian River members to identify firsthand the different types of emergency response incidents that could be encountered in a suburban setting. Illustrated herewith are some photographs of the activities. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge Aston-Beechwood for their hospitality.
