Wednesday, September 26, 2013 Nature: Propane Gas Pad – Firefighter Training Address: Delaware State Fire School – Sussex Training Facility On Wednesday, September 26, 2013, firefighters from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in propane gas firefighting evolutions. This training gives probationary and new firefighters a chance to be instructed in firefighting methods and fire suppression actions needed to suppress fuel related incidents and a chance to practice these methods. Other training initiatives that were coordinated with this event were: hose handling, fire hydrant operations, pump operator training, etc. |
