Saturday, August 24th.

On Saturday evening, August 24th commencing at 6 p.m. the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted an evening filled sports recreational event with Power Pro Wrestling - Battle on the Bay Event at the Main Station in Oak Orchard, Delaware.

This event was a collaborative effort via the American Legion Post #28, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company general membership.

The event included many Power Pro Wrestling affiliates and was an enjoyable evening for the folks that attendance.

There will be a food and soft drink beverage sales as well as fire company shirts, etc. which were coordinate by the Ladies Auxiliary. The adult beverages were coordinated by the American Legion Post #28.

Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge the pre-arranged stand-by coverage via Frankford Fire Company (76) for firefighting incidents, pre-arranged event EMS standby coverage via Lewes Fire Department (82); and pre-arranged EMS standby coverage via Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

The collaborative efforts of our mutual aid companies as well as the joint partnership with the American Legion Post #28 have yielded many favorite activities and public events.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge the generous support and patronage from our neighboring companies, event patrons, volunteers and Power Pro Wrestling for all of their assistance.
