Wednesday August, 7 2013 Nature: Award Presentation – Graduate – Delaware State Police Academy On Wednesday evening, August 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company had the opportunity to present an award to recognize the hard work, dedication and persistence of a fellow volunteer that recently completed the 85th Delaware State Police Training Academy. On Friday, August 2nd, Tyler N. Wright graduated from the 85th Delaware State Police Training Academy and officially will be pursuing his field training. Tyler was chosen Vice President of his academy class; sang the National Anthem at the graduation ceremony; and delivered the Class Speech during the graduation. Tyler received the Director of the State Police Academy, Law Enforcement Core Values Award for his efforts during the 22 week program. This presentation from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company recognizes Tyler’s commitment and dedication to public servant and recognizes his accomplishments to date. The company presented the award with best wishes and good encouragement. Trooper Wright has been assigned to the Delaware State Police Troop 7 in Lewes, Delaware. |
