Saturday, July 20, 2013 Nature: American Legion Post #28 Annual Car Show IR Promotes Fire Prevention @ American Legion Car Show On Saturday, July 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Fire Prevention Program was invited to participate with the Oak Orchard/Riverdale American Legion Post #28 and attend their annual car show near Oak Orchard. The annual car show is intended to be a fun event for the whole family to learn and enhance awareness. You could meet a firefighter, see various apparatus, and obtain information regarding fire prevention, fire safety, home safety, etc. This public service initiative was free and the public was encouraged to attend.
