Monday July, 15 2013 @ 12:32:13 Nature: Dumpster Fire Location: Across From 31438 Indian Mission Road Address: 25470 - 25479 Digger Dr Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday, July 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a dumpster fire in the area of 25470-25479 Digger Drive off of Indian Mission Road. It was reported to be an active fire. Emergency response united included: Engines #80-3 and #80-5 from the Long Neck facility and Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility. Emergency response assignments to activate a 1¾” attack line for fire suppression and mitigate the incident. Engines #80-3 and #801 were assigned to provide assistance and initiated overhaul measures. The high humidity and temperatures were equivalent to approximately 94º. Upon completion all units were authorized to return to their respective stations. |
