Indian River Mourns the Passing of Firefighter and Ladies Auxiliary Member – Ardith “Art” P. Mosley.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company regrets to announce that its Fire Company Life Member and Ladies Auxiliary Life Member Ardith “Art” Mosley has passed away.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to offer its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loved ones of Ardith. We wish to offer the Mosley and extended families and friends our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Art’s tenure spanned more than 41 years, 8 months, and 7 days with the Fire Company of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company after joining in 1979. Ardith was awarded a Life Membership for the Ladies Auxiliary as well as the fire company operations for her years of devotion and dedicated service. Art was awarded a Life Membership in the fire company on October 6, 1993.

The Memorial Service will be coordinated via Watson Funeral Home -
A walk-through visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at the Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
