Nature: Structure Fire

On Saturday, May 11th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a structure incident on Bayview Lane in the Rehoboth Shores development off of Long Neck Road. It was reported to be a dryer fire.

Emergency response units included Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Engine #80-3 arrived on-scene and identified a single wide manufactured home environment with an addition as well as light smoke condition around the residential structure.

Emergency response crew assignments were to identify and evaluate the interior of the residential structure, determine the nature and cause of the incident as well as utilizing positive pressure ventilation to clear the residence of any smoke.
