Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS

Address: John J Williams Hwy & Layton Davis Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, May 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Layton Davis Road. It was reported to be a two vehicle collision with minor injuries.

Emergency response crews included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police and the Delaware State Police.

Emergency crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, and traffic control measures.

It appears that the blue Honda Accord was traveling westbound and attempting to turn left onto Layton Davis Road when it was struck from behind by the silver Dodge Neon.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
