Indian River's Station 2 Freshens Up
Indian River’s Station #2 was built decades ago and is slowly deteriorating but will be undergoing a facelift. Typically, the most used portion of the facility - engine bays, lounge, and office areas deteriorate more quickly. The frequent use stems from daily activities, emergency incidents, meetings, multiple events, and more.
Currently, Indian River believes the facility needs to be freshened up with new decorations and other improvements to give it a completely new feel. Simply adding a splash of paint will make the facility colors pop once again and heighten the excitement. This repainting effort will be coordinated for both interior and exterior.
Therefore, Indian River is pursuing a complete repainting with some minor repairs pending a needed overhaul of the facility in the upcoming years.
Illustrated herewith are some photographs to highlight the current efforts.
