Nature: Washdown (fuel Spill)

On Friday morning, May 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a wash down assignment resulting from a fuel spill. It appears that the fuel pump was left unattended resulting in gasoline being poured onto the ground.

Emergency response apparatus included Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility and

Emergency response assignments included the application of fuel absorbent materials to fully mitigate the situation.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided scene preservation to permit adequate recovery of the spillage.
